Overview

DECISIVE ANALYTICS Corporation is looking for a SME, Logistics Manager to provide support to AFLCMC in Dayton, OH.

 

The Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC) Medium Altitude Unmanned Aircraft Systems Division (WII) is responsible for developing, acquiring and sustaining unmanned aircraft systems. This position provides advisory and assistance services support to the government program office at their Wright-Patterson AFB operating location.

Responsibilities

  • Subject Matter Expert that applies logistics knowledge to perform various tasks related to the planning, development, implementation and management of a comprehensive, affordable and effective systems support strategy for the weapon system entire lifecycle.
  • Addresses Product Support Elements: 1) sustaining/system engineering, 2) design interface, 3) supply support, 4) maintenance planning and management, 5) support equipment/automatic test systems, 6) facilities, 7) packaging, handling, storage, and transportation (PHS&T), 8) technical data management/technical orders, 9) manpower and personnel, 10) training, 11) computer resources, and 12) protection of critical information and anti-tamper provision.
  • Leads Asset Visibility and Tracking of program assets and Government Furnished Property (GFP) at multiple locations using Microsoft Office and specialized software databases. Ensures program is compliant with Financial Improvement and Audit Readiness (FIAR) and conducts reporting requirements.
  • Works on logistics and maintainability programs and with logistics and sustainment organizations on issues such as: Identification of weapon systems logistic requirements and resources, technical evaluation of contractor proposals, and development of logistics support and maintainability plans.
  • Plans and executes supply support (supply chain management) for weapon systems; support equipment provisioning and sustainment; and PHS&T duties.
  • Assists the PM in performing site activation surveys and recommending logistical options for new site establishment.
  • Supports weapon system deployment planning and execution with operational users. Provides guidance and assistance in developing Readiness Spares Packages (RSP) by prime Contractor and execution of annual RSP reviews with prime Contractor and Major Commands (MAJCOM).
  • Develops acquisition program documentation to include Life Cycle Sustainment Plans, Memorandum of Agreements, contract statements of work, and performance work statements.
  • Collects, compiles, analyzes, investigates, and applies logistics, maintenance, acquisition or financial data and information.
  • Develops, modifies, prepares or validates documentation in relation to maintenance planning, spares requirements/provisioning, automated logistics, maintenance data reporting systems, and management information systems.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Master’s Degree with 14 years of relevant experience, or Bachelor’s Degree with 16 years of relevant experience or High School Diploma with 20 years of relevant experience.
  • TOP SECRET security clearance with Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) eligibility and background investigation current within the past 6 years.
  • Indepth knowledge of DoD acquisition program product support.

Desired:

  • 12 months or more of SAP experience within the past 5 years.
  • DoD Acquisition Program Office experience.
  • Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) Life Cycle Logistics Certification.
  • Experience with Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) weapon systems.
  • Experience in maintenance planning, supply support, support equipment, PHS&T, site activation, GFP, FIAR compliance, and deployment planning.
