    Decisive Analytics Corporation is looking for a Pricing/Budget Analyst to join our award-winning team in Arlington, VA!


    The Pricing/Budget Analyst will report to the Project Control Manager and is responsible for preparing compliant cost/price proposals in accordance with FAR and Request For Proposal (RFP) requirements, primarily for DoD efforts. This individual reviews RFPs to identify and assist the proposal team in developing responses for a variety of contract types and sizes.


    Additionally, the successful candidate will perform budget support tasks, including assisting in creating and maintaining program budgets for existing contracts, assisting in budget planning, data entry, and budget monitoring and reporting.



    • Review RFPs, analyze pricing requirements, prepare cost volumes for submission at both the prime and subcontractor levels.
    • Develop and implement pricing strategies and models based on competitive market dynamics, RFP requirements and business objectives.
    • Construct comparative cost models and present to Proposal teams.
    • Collaborate with Capture and Proposal teams to analyze key financials and formulate possible bid strategies.
    • Support proposal efforts for all contract types, including, but not limited to; FFP, T&M, and CPFF.
    • Providing funding, financial, forecasting, program, and budgetary information to senior officials and program managers for existing contracts.
    • Assist project managers in organizing and monitoring project deliverables, pricing projects, developing and maintaining Estimates to Complete (ETC), Estimates at Completion (EACs), and other project financial reports for various projects under the divisions.
    • Prepare and present cost estimates to management, customer representatives and government audit agencies.


    Required Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related discipline.
    • 1+ years cost and pricing work experience in the government contracting industry.
    • Knowledge of cost evaluation techniques, accounting principles and auditing standards to evaluate vendor proposals.
    • Experience in pricing and budgeting for a variety of contract types (FFP, T&M, CPFF, etc.).
    • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
    • Strong attention to detail.
    • Highly proficient in MS Office applications, specifically Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
    • Ability to communicate and interact well with all levels of the organization.
    • Ability to work effectively under time critical deadlines.
    • Ability to work effectively with minimal direct supervision.
    • Strong commitment and ability to work cooperatively in a team environment is critical
    • Eligible for Secret Clearance.
    • Must be a US citizen.


    Desired Qualifications:

    • Experience with Deltek Costpoint, Costpoint Enterprise Reporting (CER), and CER Report Studio.
    • Experience calculating Price to Win estimations.
    • Pricing experience at a large government contractor is strongly desired.
