  • Overview

    Decisive Analytics Corporation is looking for an Enterprise Architect to join our team in Arlington, VA!


    • Work with DoD leadership, functionals, portfolio managers and the Joint Staff to develop & maintain all DoD enterprise strategic needs/goals/intent/missions required for each program architecture.
    • Obtain the current DoD Enterprise Architecture (EA) and identify/capture all supporting program architectures. Ensure currency & synchronization of program architectures with the DoD EA.
    • Oversee the development of missing or deficient architectures to support the DoD EA, or those that do not meet strategic needs/goals/intent/missions. Provide support to architecture developers as required.
    • Analyze individual architectures to assess risk against meeting DoD enterprise strategic needs/goals/intent and the DoD EA.
    • Identify individual or multiple architectures supporting joint mission threads and analyze across these architectures to assess risk against meeting joint mission thread needs.
    • Identify issues from individual or cross-architecture analysis and prepare status reports and decision briefings to leadership to identify risks in commitments/gaps/dependencies and any leverage opportunities.
    • Craft leadership decisions into guidance to affected architecture owners to implement architecture changes and then oversee updates.
    • Coordinate program updates with the DoD EA after individual architectures have been changed.
    • Oversee the flow down of architecture updates to existing and future acquisition & sustainment programs.
    • Identify and investigate new tools, techniques, processes and training needed to perform these functions more effectively and efficiently.
    • Develop architecture training programs and lead training of DoD staff and other stakeholders.



    • Minimum of 3 years’ hands-on experience analyzing architectures in DoD, the Intelligence Community (IC) or Industry using The Department of Defense Architecture Framework (DoDAF) or similar tools/frameworks.
    • Minimum of 10 years work experience.
    • Minimum of Bachelors’ Degree in engineering, information technology, or program management. Master’s degree in related field highly desired.
    • Experience supporting a Chief Architect or working in an Office of Chief Architect (OCA) highly desired
    • DoDAF and/or other formal architecture development training highly desired.


    • Knowledge and experience analyzing individual or across multiple architectures using DoDAF or similar framework/tools for major hardware or information programs.
    • Knowledge and experience identifying risks of architectures to meet strategic enterprise & mission needs.
    • Knowledge and experience flowing down architecture products into program system requirements.
    • Ability to lead internal architecture development teams.
    • Ability to collaborate with external architecture development teams and stakeholders.
    • Oral & written competencies at both a technical and senior executive level.

    Clearance Requirements:

    • Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) clearance is required.
