Decisive Analytics Corporation is looking for an Enterprise Architect to join our team in Arlington, VA!


  • Develop and oversee the DoD Enterprise Architecture (EA) Baseline and annual update process.
  • Manage the library of supporting architectures to the DoD EA and provide periodic updates to managers on actions and development status.
  • Facilitate the coordination and management of the approved DoD EA mission, engineering and leadership needs, requirements and strategies list used to guide and assess architecture development.
  • Assess baselined architectures against the EA needs & strategies list to identify gaps & opportunities.
  • Develop decision briefings to DoD leadership and resulting guidance to architecture teams reflecting leadership decisions & timelines to close gaps and explore opportunities.
  • Support the transition of architecture products to program and functional mission engineering teams to incorporate architecture views/plans into acquisition program system requirements and strategies.
  • Develop and manage the standard DoD architecture development methodology, to include use of the most recent DoD Architecture Framework (DoDAF) version, other tools and subject matter expertise.
  • Identify and form internal architecture teams to develop directed OSD-level initiative architectures using the standard DoD architecture development methodology & tools.
  • Investigate and benchmark new architecture development and assessment tools, training and techniques to continuously improve the DoD EA architecture products and process.
  • Develop core competencies required of high performing architecture teams to include training, expertise and certifications.
  • Develop architecture training programs and lead training of DoD staff and other architecture teams.
  • Develop and/or provide outreach support to internal or external organizations for all architecture activities as required by the Director.



  • Minimum of 3 years’ hands-on experience building architectures in DoD, the Intelligence Community (IC) or Industry using DoDAF or similar tools/frameworks.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience assessing other architecture teams’ products and processes in the DoD, IC or Industry.  Experience directly supporting a Chief Architect or working in an Office of Chief Architect (OCA) highly desired.
  • Minimum of 10 years work experience.  15 years highly desired.
  • Minimum of Bachelors’ Degree in engineering, information technology, or program management.  Master’s degree in related field highly desired.
  • DoDAF and/or other formal architecture development training highly desired.



  • Knowledge and experience building architectures using DoDAF or similar framework/tools for major hardware or information systems.
  • Knowledge and experience assessing both individual architectures, as well as across multiple architectures.
  • Knowledge and experience translating architecture products into program system requirements
  • Ability to lead internal architecture teams
  • Ability to collaborate with external architecture teams and organizations.
  • Oral & written competencies at both a technical and executive level.

Clearance Requirements:


  • Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) clearance is required.
