DECISIVE ANALYTICS Corporation is looking for a Software Assurance Assessor in Huntsville, Alabama. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting technical aspects of cybersecurity software code review and vulnerability/risk analysis. The ideal candidate will have hands on experience with HP Fortify 360 and knowledge of Cybersecurity RMF Controls Validation Testing as well as an understanding of DoD testing tools and techniques, DISA STIGs and IAVM requirements. This is a technical cybersecurity position and solving complex technical cybersecurity issues will be required.
A Software Assurance (SwA) Assessment for the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) is the Independent Verification and Validation (IV&V) of custom developed software from a cybersecurity controls, cybersecurity hygiene, and cybersecurity posture of a non-COTS product. MDA systems are categorized into mission systems, test and development enclaves, or administrative/general services enclaves, and each one of these areas contains numerous modules of custom developed code that require an independent analysis.
A SwA may consist of using automated tools to conduct code vulnerability analysis in both static (non-executing) and dynamic (real-time operations) states, manual desk checking (though rare), or a combination of all techniques. It may also leverage Vendor Supply Chain Risk Management acquisition activities from counter-intelligence sources to ensure the cybersecurity risk level is appropriate.
Each SwA Assessor will have technical experience in:
• Software development, preferably using several languages
• Knowledge of secure coding practices
• Ability to use numerous technologies to accomplish SwA
• Ability to work alone and within teams
• ASD STIG Compliance
• IAT I baseline certification
• DoD Secret clearance at a minimum
