  • Overview

    DECISIVE ANALYTICS Corporation is seeking applicants with strong design and development skills to play an important role in creating cutting-edge user interfaces and engaging data visualizations to support our military and intelligence community customers. This position is located at our headquarters in Arlington, VA.


    • Design, develop, and test all levels of interfaces, from small prototypes and data visualizations to large-scale web applications
    • Work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team to provide intuitive user interfaces and data visualizations for complex machine learning algorithms
    • Maintain an understanding of the current and emerging trends in UI design and development in order to recommend and implement improvements to the technologies employed at DAC


    • 0-3 years experience developing web applications and/or data visualizations
    • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Studies, HCI, or a related discipline
    • Proficient in modern web development with JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, and familiarity with client-side frameworks such as AngularJS or Angular
    • Strong team player who can effectively contribute to brainstorming and project development
    • Must have excellent communication skills
    • Must be a US Citizen

    Desired Experience:

    • Knowledge of best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, source control management, build processes, and testing
    • Experience designing and implementing interactive data visualizations using d3.js or another data visualization library
    • Experience with Machine Learning or data mining


    Security Clearance: Applicants must have a SECRET clearance or be able to obtain a SECRET clearance upon hire
