    DECISIVE ANALYTICS Corporation is looking for a Senior Logistics and Cost Data Analyst to provide support to The Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Product Support (DASD(PS)) in Arlington Virginia, Pentagon complex.

    Responsibilities

    • Reviews, analyzes and assesses readiness and O&S cost estimates and requirements for all programs reporting metrics in the Defense Acquisition Management Information Retrieval System (DAMIR). Prepares sustainment metrics over time analytical tools for staff specialists to use each month in support of their DAES reviews.
    • For miscellaneous programs, develop interactive models that formulate and demonstrate the relationships between reliability, availability, and maintainability (RAM) factors and the impacts on O&S cost. 
    • Manages the Defense Acquisition Executive Summaries (DAES) monthly analysis and assessment program for ODASD(L&MR). Develops databases and tools that create trend charts and compare actuals to requirements. Prepares read-ahead packages, facilitates review sessions and obtains management approval to release assessments.
    • Provides DASD(MR) staff specialists with analytical support for budgetary reviews for annual CAPE issue teams.
    • Continuously monitors and evaluates industry, Service and other OSD offices and unique and common analytical tools, modeling and simulation capabilities for Product Support applicability i.e. O&S Costs vs. Strategic outcomes.
    • Assists staff specialists with O&S affordability analyses to support assessment of targets / caps for many programs to include the F-35, APT, CRH, and JLTV. 3.1.1
    • Assists the DASD(MR) staff in developing methodologies and conducted in-depth analyses to help understand root causes of O&S cost.
    • Provide subject matter expertise and assisted in the monitoring, understanding and development of analytical capabilities for assisting in Product Support applications and Life Cycle management decision making.
    • Helps prepare senior level documents such as position papers, reports, senior level responses (oral and written) and briefings.
    • Develops O&S cost driver sensitivity (tornado charts) that are used by DASD(MR) in briefings to the Services and industry.
    • Provides written evaluations and assessments of O&S cost and O&S affordability assumptions, issues, and risks in support of acquisition decisions.

     

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Computer Science, Business or Data Analysis
    • DoD Secret Clearance required, Top Secret preferred
    • 10-15 years of relevant experience required
    • Experience with the Service VAMSOC systems (Navy VAMOSC, AFTOC and OSMIS).   Ability to download and analyze data
    • Experience using Microsoft Access.  Many of the ODASD(PS) applications developed by DAC are in MS Access (SIGACTS, DAES, LCSP Tracking)
    • Ability to develop advanced cost models in MS Excel
    • Significant experience as an O&S cost analyst within the DoD
