    Decisive Analytics Corporation is looking for a Senior Supply Chain Analyst to join our team in Philadelphia, PA! 

     

    The goal of this work is to advance the DoD supply chain towards precision and reliability. Additionally, to improve supply chain precision and reliability by reducing the level of variability across the five supply chain process areas of Plan, Source, Maintain/Repair, Deliver, and Return. Improvements can be implemented to reduce supply chain. By reducing variability of the supply chain, the DoD will be able to plan with a higher degree of confidence, which can remove a significant amount of reliance on less efficient and herculean efforts such as overly relying on inventory safety stocks and expediting of materiel. 

     

    Responsibilities

    • Develop and implement supply chain strategies and networks in support of programs, new business opportunities and proposals.
    • Use analytical and quantitative methods to understand, predict, and enhance supply chain processes.
    • Responsible for assembling data, analyzing performance, identifying problems, and developing recommendations which support program planning and operations.
    • Monitor key performance indicators, analyzes cost-to-serve performance data, and coordinates cross-functional work teams to increase effectiveness of supply chain initiatives.
    • Analyze production planning, material procurement, inventory control, rate setting, outsourcing, vendor selection and retention, expediting, analyzing, and distribution.
    • Monitor contract compliance and other logistics service providers.
    • Develop analytical reports and analysis to support negotiations with suppliers which provide goods and services.
    • Report on operational performance measurements and purchase price variance analysis.

    Qualifications

    • Minimum of 10 years working within the USN/USMC Aviation communities with a focus on programming and budgeting, NAVAIR operations, NAVSUP weapon system support, Defense Logistics Agency operations, and Depot Supply Chain management.
    • Bachelors degree is Supply Chain Management or related field.
    • DoD Secret clearance required.
    • Experience with the following skill sets:
      • Demand forecasting
      • Inventory management
      • Knowledge of models utilized to determine retail and wholesale spares allowances
      • Knowledge of cataloging and provisioning requirements
      • Operational and industrial supply support

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Experience of benefit in the following assignments:
      • OPNAV (preferably N41 or N98)
      • NAVAIR
      • NAVSUP WSS Philadelphia (preferably Operations N98)
      • DLA (headquarters or subordinate commands)
      • FRC, Type Commander, or Fleet supply chain oversight and management

    * Position is contingent upon award of contract
